Meet Our Staff
John Choi, D.D.S. Dr. Choi earned a Bachelor of Science degree from U.C.L.A. in 1987. He then attended the University of the Pacific and earned his D.D.S. degree in 1990. Dr. Choi had a private practice in Los Angeles from 1990 until 1998. He joined San Fernando Dental Care in 1998. Dr. Choi enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He especially enjoys restorative implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry
Eva L. Hogan, D.D.S., M.S graduated from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, with a Medical Degree. She received her certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from UCLA School of Dentistry. She is currently on the faculty in the Section of Periodontics at UCLA and in private practice in Periodontal Microsurgery and Implants.
Russell West, D.D.S. Dr. West graduated from the University of Alberta, AB, Canada in 1975 where he earned his B.S. and D.D.S. degree. Dr. West practiced dentistry in Vancouver, BC, Canada for over 20 years before moving to California. In 2000, Dr. West passed the California and U.S. dental board examinations. He moved to California in 2001. He began working with San Fernando Dental Care in 2003. Dr. West excels in all phases of dentistry and especially loves cosmetic dentistry.
Margaret Sy, D.D.S. Dr. Sy earned her degree from one of the top dental schools in the Philippines the University of the East in 1998. She has held her California license since 1994 and is in excellent standing. Dr. Sy is an Associate Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Parviz Alai, D.D.S. Dr. Alai graduated from USC dental school in 1975. He continued on at U.S.C. as a post graduate in the School of Orthodontics. Dr. Alai graduated with Credit Honors in 1977. Dr. Alai, in his 28 year career has treated over 20,000 patients. Dr. Alai is a member of the California Association of Orthodontics and attends continuing education classes to maintain his high standards.

Paul Anderson, D.D.S. M.D.
studied
Biology at the University of Utah. His studies also included advanced courses in
Mandarin Chinese. Following graduation, he attended dental school at UCLA. He
obtained his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery experience at the University of Texas
Health Science Center in Houston. This included obtaining a medical degree in
combination with his surgical training. Dr. Anderson has been trained to use a
variety of conscious sedation and general anesthesia techniques. In addition to
dentoalveolar and implant surgery, special interests include bone graft
reconstructive surgery, orthognathic surgery and cleft lip and palate repair.
Dr. Anderson enjoys teaching and has been an instructor for the American Heart
Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support course (ACLS).
